THE ACHIEVEMENT GAP!!!!
What do you think causes the achievement gap?
- Kids not thinking they can do it. Lack of concertration.
What can students do to close the gaps (3)
-They can work harder. NOT only that but dont worry about ohh the white kids are smarter worry about your studies. ALso dont let their social life effort their schooling.
What can parents do?(3)
-They can look over their kids homework, even when they claim they dont have any make them study,read etc. If their social life is causing their grades to slip stop some of the fun things and make them put their schooling first.
What can teachers/schools do?(3)
-The teachers can tell when a student needs help by their grades they should take interest and not let that the students fail. Have afterschool help to go over things and material not learned. Contact the parents and make it a team effort to help the kids succend in school and life.
